Professor Dudley Shallcross is the Director of the Trust and is responsible for its executive management. Mrs Jean Smith is the Administrator of the Trust and Dr Peter Doyle is our patron. The Trust is funded by AstraZeneca PLC.

Funding
AstraZeneca PLC (formerly named AstraZeneca Group PLC) has endowed the Trust with funding of £20 million, although the Trust may accept donations from elsewhere. The fund is managed by investment managers on behalf of the Trustees. The intention is to preserve the capital sum for perpetuity and make available the annual income for the purposes of the Trust.
