- York (STAY) Project

This is a 2 year initiative and provides you with a range of stimulating material to help you understand issues of transfer and use bridging lessons at KS2 and KS3.

This unit has been created with the help of Martin Braund, from the Department of Educational Studies, York University

Objectives

In the PDU you will work through the underlying principles of transfer, learn how to use bridging units, see how to use assessment across transfer and consider the benefits to teacher and pupil of a coherent bridging programme. It also offers some 'taster' resources and interactively explains how best to use lesson plans and planning posters.
