Trust Projects
Concept mapping - Exmouth Academic Council (Cluster Project)
The cluster involves seventeen rural and urban primary schools and a Community College with 2250 on roll. It intends to link with the AZEST project based at Exeter University which was also funded by the Trust.
Programme
The cluster intends to use opportunities to advance the use of a website and initiate dialogue to enhance science teaching and learning. Science co-ordinators will be provided with laptops to allow them to access a dedicated website and to use email to maintain communication. The programme aims to employ science subject leaders' knowledge, skills, expertise, assessment ideas and target-setting strategies to promote good science activities, raise standards of teaching and learning and rekindle an enthusiasm for science.
